What are the initiation fees for pledges?
Pledges are required to pay a one-time $100 Pledge fee and a $300 Initiation fee prior to the date of initiation.
How much are the Sigma Chi International Fraternity Membership Dues?
At initiation, members agree to pay $200 for Sigma Chi International Fraternity Membership Dues to the Chapter.
What are the programming fees per pledge per semester?
In addition to the Pledge Fee paid on behalf of each Pledge to Sigma Chi by the Chapter and additional programming fees of $150 is charged.
How much are the dues for active brothers of the chapter?
Active brothers are required to pay dues in the amount of $450.
What are the "Senior Dues" for active brothers who do not live in the Chapter House and have reached the academic status of Senior?
Senior Dues are $350.
When are dues and fees due?
All amounts are due on the first day of classes relative to the semester unless otherwise stated by the Quaestor.

The member's account will be turned over to a collections agency and/or filed in Small Claims Court, and financial expulsion proceedings will begin11.
Can payment plans be set up for dues?
Yes, payment plans can be set up on an individual basis between the brother and the Quaestor, subject to approval by the Executive Board of the Chapter12.
What happens if a brother has an unpaid balance upon graduation?
The brother will be turned over to a collections agency for the said amount, upon the Quaestor's discretion13.
What is the release of liability clause?
The undersigned Member agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold the Chapter and its other Members free and harmless from any and all liability for claims, damages, or injury.
How can changes to the terms of the contract be made?
Any changes to the terms of this contract must be approved by a 2/3rds majority of voting members.
Who signs this agreement?
The Beta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Chi Undergraduate President, Treasurer and each member when they joine the chapter.

2. What are the terms of occupancy?
The terms of occupancy include the Fall Academic Semester of 2025 and the Spring Academic Semester of 2026. The agreement does not cover Winter or Summer Breaks.
3. What are the costs associated with this agreement?
The costs include room and board fees of $5250 per semester, along with one-time fees such as a pledge fee of $150, an initiation fee of $300, a membership fee of $200, and a parking fee of $150 per semester.
4. What happens if the student fails to pay rent?
If the student fails to pay rent, the Chapter may serve a five-day notice requiring payment or vacating the premises. Late fees of $10 per week will be added for unpaid amounts.
5. Are pets allowed in the House?
No, pets are not allowed in the House or on the premises.
6. What are the rules regarding alcohol and hazing?
The agreement includes strict policies on alcohol and hazing, prohibiting the illegal use, possession, sale, or distribution of controlled substances or alcoholic beverages at the chapter house or any chapter function.
7. What are the student's obligations regarding the upkeep of the premises?
The student must keep the House and assigned Suite in good repair and clean condition. Any damage caused by the student or their guests must be promptly reported and repaired at the student's expense.
8. Can the agreement be terminated?
Yes, the agreement can be terminated by the Chapter upon the student's completion of undergraduate studies, expulsion or resignation from the University or Chapter, material violation of the agreement, or permanent withdrawal from the University.
9. Who signs this contract?
The contract is signed by the Beta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Chi Undergraduate President and the student/member wishing to live in the Chapter House.
